IES Examination | CE 014

IES Examination

Dear Friends !
IES Examination is a synonym of Indian Engineering Services Examination. It is also known as Engineering Services Examination or ESE. All technical cum managerial civil service officers of Government of India are recruited through this examination. These officers are also known as IES officers. IES officers are recruited by Union Government of India based on recommendations made by Union Public Service Commission or UPSC. Since IES is one of the most prestigious service of India, ESE is one of the toughest examination too.

One of my students of 2017 batch inquired me on this and I furnished him information to my level best. Then I decided to spread this to all my students through this blog. Naturally, information in this blog will be pertinent only to Civil Engineering students. My Suggestions :
It's your decision whether you opt for a coaching or not. Assuming that you will prepare yourself, my suggestion is that you study text books very well - between the lines. Do not skip even any foot notes. Try to realize how the problems are solved. Try to realize the logic and concept behind the solution of a problem. Practice problems a lot of times. For theoretical part, do not just commit into memory everything - rather think how you yourself can write all answers logically. Finally, work hard if you really want to crack the bar.

I have started writing this blog at 9 A.M today and now I am writing my last sentence at 10 P.M. That means, I have been working continuously for last 13 hours - that too at the age of 61+ years. If I can tender such a labor on request of only one of my students - imagine how much labor you need to put for your success. I hope, you will be able to do that and I am sure, you will get success.

Thank you.
